MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
My name is Matt Fremont and I am a GIS professional with over 20 years of experience working with and teaching GIS applications and providing geospatial solutions. After spending my early career making maps at the National Geographic Society and working as a consultant as well as a professor in geography, I decided to develop this simple course based on feedback from my students. I'm passionate about creating maps, but using ArcGIS can be frustrating at times, and my goal is to guide you through the basic functions, tools, and applications so that you can get exactly what you need out of this course and apply these skills to your job or education.
